Originally from Riga, Latvia, Anna Privsa received her B.A. in contemporary dance from the Latvian Academy of Culture and a second B.A. in English from the Latvian State University. For four years she has taught contemporary dance at Riga Choreography School (the state ballet school with the Latvian National Opera) and at Latvian Academy of Culture.

In 2014 Anna has also gained her Master's degree in choreography from Latvian Music Academy where she worked as a contemporary dance teacher for almost four years. As a member of Selah Repertory Dance Theatre, she was part of such dance projects as Messiah and Voices from the Ground, both performed at the Latvian National Opera. Anna has participated in various international contemporary dance festivals both in Europe, U.S.A. and Philippines.

Her passion is to raise a new generation of professional dancers, who are self-confident, expressive and well-rounded in all aspects of life.
